The German who succeeded in taking two championships, the cup and the league-cup in just two and a half seasons with PSG. Thomas Tuchel is the new Chelsea coach after Frank Lampard got fired.

Tuchel reached the Champions League final with PSG last season, where he lost to Bayern. Prior to that, he successfully led Borussia Dortmund with whom he won the German Cup.

His first big break as a coach came in 2009 when he replaced Jurgen Klopp as manager of Mainz in the Bundesliga. Six years later, he replaced Klopp again when he was appointed Dortmund boss in 2015. Tuchel’s work with Dortmund earned him plenty of recognition across Europe as one of the brightest minds in coaching 

He signed a contract with the London club until the summer of 2022 with the possibility of extension. New Chelsea coach gave a statement for the clubs’ website:
