Kyril Louis-Dreyfus, the young Frenchman who just became the mayor shareowner of Sunderland. Young boss has his whishes set on the new Sunderland era. The club barely survives in the English third league. But Sunderland has the youngest club president in Europe now.

Ex champion club now plays in the Englands third league, but now Sunderland has a new owner. Dreyfus is 23 years olds, he just took over the control package from the ex-owner Stewart Donald. Though Donald will keep the smaller share.

“Kyril’s dedication, shrewdness and integrity convinced us to accept his proposal, ” Donald said.

“His vision and desire to bring Sunderland back to the top has been obvious from the start, and his offer is the one we believe gives the club the best chance of long-term success and sustainability.” – he also added.

Kyril is the son of the Marseille ex-owner Robert Louis-Dreyfus, who died in 2009. His mother is Swiss billionaire, president of the Louis Dreyfus Group, Margarite Louis-Dreyfus.

The young boss seems very happy and excited as he stated that new interesting adventure is starting to happen.

Sunderland won English Championship six times, the last being in 1936. Although the club keeps fluctuating trough the history it seems that Sunderland has the youngest club president in Europe and it awaits a big change.
