Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho is furious over the loss to Liverpool. Mourinho raged as Tottenham lost by 2 – 1 score as he said that: “Better team lost!”
As Liverpool moved above Tottenham with 3 points, by beating the Hotspur team in the last minutes Mourinho is furious over the loss to Liverpool. For instance, Tottenham‘s boss didn’t spare words towards Klopp, saying that if he acted that way that Klopp did, he would be long gone.
In spite of Mourinho’s comments, Klopp only had positive words for Tottenham. However, he insisted that Liverpool deserved to win. And that the game was fair as Tottenham had only 23 percent ball possession.
Liverpool’s Trent Alexander – Arnold went to Twitter and passively disagreed with Mourinho with just three simple words. English defender wrote that the best team won and the army of fans supported him.
” I think it was a really good game against a top side which is a counter-attacking monster. You lose one ball and there’s an 80 percent chance it will end up in your own box.” – said Jurgen Klopp.
Now that Liverpool built their self-confidence they are on their way to grow their advantage over the Spurs and Manchester United. The next big game for Liverpool is on Saturday at Crystal Palace.
