“First half not good enough, second half yeah good enough, but a mountain to climb. We fought, second half people came on added speed and energy to our game but that should have been a given from the start.” – said Chelsea boss.

Boxing Day match at the Emirates was a deadly combination for Chelsea, they had a chance to win but ended the game by making their coach furious. Blues boss said that players have to take responsibility from now on and his messages was quite clear.

Timo Werner wasn’t on the good side of Lampard as he directly criticized him. “For today, Timo wasn’t giving us enough with or without the ball. Some of it we have to give him time. I keep saying the same thing because it’s a different league but we also have to get there quickly.” said Lampard.

Many blamed Timos play on tiredness but that didn’t go with the blues boss who added – “We’ll see about the tiredness – I’ll have a conversation with him. But I felt I had to make changes to change the course of the match.”
