Inter continues winning streak against Crotone

Milan’s Inter players defeated Crotone 6: 2 (2: 2) in the first game of the 15th round in Italian Serie A. This victory is their 8th consecutive in the Italian championship, as Inter continues winning streak.

Crotone took the lead in the 12th minute with a goal by Zanella. In the 20th minute, Lautaro Martinez scored for Inter one of his three goals. Inter took the lead for the first time in the 31st minute when Crotone defender Luca Marrone redirected the ball into his own net in an attempt to prevent a goal.

 However, the guests scored to 2: 2 by the end of the half. After that, Golubic accurately scored from a penalty kick.

In the second half, Inter completely outplayed Crotone. In the 57th minute, Martinez shook the net for the second time, Croatian Marcelo Brozović assisted him. Seven minutes later, Romelo Lukaku increased his lead to 4: 2 with his 50th goal in the Inter jersey. 

For 5: 2, in the 78th minute, Martinez scored the third goal, reacting the fastest to the rejected ball after the goalkeeper defended Ivan Perisic’s shot from the edge of the penalty area.

The final 6: 2 was set by Achraf Hakimi in the 87th minute. Ivan Perišić came in the 75th minute instead of Lukaku. On the wings of competitive players, Inter continues winning streak.

Inter is at the top of the Serie A table with 36 points, two more than second-placed Milan, which has one game less. Milan plays away at Benevento. Crotone is in the penultimate place with nine points from 15 appearances.
