73-year old Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez coronavirus positive. The Spanish Champions announced that their boss received the positive test result.

 “Our president has received a positive test result on COVID-19 to which he periodically undergoes. There are no symptoms,” the statement said. 

Real announced that the president was infected with the corona ten days after Zinedine Zidane had the same disease. It sure raises a question about what is happening in Real.

Before Zidane, Fernandez, Hazard, Casemiro and two more players contracted coronavirus at Real. Even a few players that were on a loan from another club, came home positive. After that, Florentino Perez coronavirus positive results weren’t really surprising.

At the start of the coronavirus pandemic, Lorenzo Sanz, Perez’s predecessor as Real’s president, died.

 He is one of nearly 56,000 Spaniards who have died from the effects of the corona since the disease came to the country a year ago.
