Six were on the plane, all six died. The club president and four footballers were on their way for a match on Monday when the crash happened. Four Brasilian football players died, after a tragic plane accident.

The tragic accident happened in Brazil. On Sunday morning, the footballers of the Brazilian quarter-finalist Palmas, as well as their president, suffered a serious accident. Four footballers along with president Lucas Meira and the pilot were supposed to go to their club’s match to be played on Monday, but just moments after takeoff, the plane crashed.

All four footballers tragically died in the crash: Lucas Praxedes, Guilherme Noe, Ranule and Marcus Molinari. The president of the club and the plane pilot also died.

Palmas FC confirmed the news of the death. Other Brazilian clubs immediately expressed condolences after 4 Brasilian football players died in a tragic way. Among them is Vila Nova, against which the footballers were supposed to play.
