“Marco Rose has decided to use the clause in his contract, which runs until 2022, and join Borussia Dortmund this summer. ” said the statement from sports director Max Eberl. Almost ex-club already confirmed the departure of their coach.

Marco Rose is well respected and people have big expectations of him in German football. The gossip about him changing clubs started a few weeks ago. He is supposed to replace Edin Terzic, the ex-assistant of Lucien Favre. Terzic is the head coach currently.

Borussia Dortmund seems to be in big problems right now. They only won one game in last six matches, keeping themselves in the 6th place with 15 points behind Bayern.

But now, Borussia Dortmund has a new coach that has good stats behind him and he might be just what they need. The man won two finales with Salzburg and one cup, as he also successfully placed Monchengladbach in Champions League.

The 44-year-old is preparing to face Manchester City in the Champions League next week. His decision about leaving was maybe spread too early, as Rose still plans to work hard to achieve goals in the league, cup and Europe.
