Best Fifa football awards 2020 goes to?

Best Fifa football awards are going online in 2020. On Thursday Fifa will announce the best football players and coaches for 2020.

Last year’s superstar was Barcelona’s Lionel Messi who got an award for the best male player. Best Fifa football awards for women went to USA’s Megan Rapinoe.

Public voting started in November and ended on the 9th of December. Since then Fifa announced three finalists from every category. The award ceremony is on the 17th of December and duo to Covid pandemic it will be on-line.

Meanwhile this years nominees in man category are:

Cristiano Ronaldo who plays for Juventus & Portugal. Ronaldo scored 31 goals for Juventus while he marked his 100th score for Portugal.

Lionel Messi plays for Barcelona & Argentina. In fact, Messi already got Fifa’s award 6 times! He is La Ligas’s top scorer with 25 goals and the best assist giver with 21 assistantships.

Equally important Robert Lewandowski playing for Bayern Munich & Poland. Successful Bayern player who scored 55 goals in just 47 games and helped Bayern Munich climb to the top. He is the top scorer for the polish international team and Champions League.

While the Best Fifa men’s coach nominees are:

Jurgen Klopp for Liverpool, if Klopp earns the award it would be the second year in arrow for him.

Marcelo Bielsa who finally got Leeds back to the Premier League.

Hans-Dieter Flick was announced as Niko Kovacs replacement as he successfully leads Bayern with just two games lost.
